Abu Dhabi, UAE, 06 Nov 2017 – The opening ceremony was led by H.E. Ambassador ConstancioVingno, Jr, PBC-AD Chairman Howell Perez, Philippine Commercial Attache’ Eric Elnar together with Filipino businessmen, entrepreneurs, professionals and delegation of Philippine exporters organized by the Philippine Trade and Investment Center.
Aspiring Filipino business professionals, Filipino-owned small and medium enterprises can now avail of low-cost co-working space and business services after the opening of the new PBC-AD office at Makateb Business Center, Ajman Bank Building, Tourist Club Area under the leadership of Mr. Waleed Khalifa, General Manager of Makateb Business Center.
“Now Filipinos in UAE can enjoy more membership services and co-working space provided by MBC and other members at preferential rates. The Council can assist members with services such as business modeling, matching, trade opportunities and starting up with co-working space, market entry and industry support” said PBC-AD Chairman Howell Perez.
It was also announced during the ceremony that the Council has recently signed an MOU with Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) as an affiliate organization during the 43rd Philippine Business Conference and Expo recently held in Manila to support the further development of trade between the Philippines and United Arab Emirates through the exchange of delegation, trade leads and economic information represented by the PBC-AD Chairman Howell Perez and Mr. Gau Raganit, Director for Marketing and Communications.
The Philippine Business Council of Abu Dhabi under the patronage of H.E. Hussain Jasim Al Nowais is the only non-government Filipino organization registered with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and licensed by the Department of Economy since 2004 as a business group for businessmen, entrepreneurs and professionals who share a common interest in developing local businesses, trade and investment between Philippines and UAE.
